Dear Parents & Carers,
Thank you to to all famliies who connected with teachers for parent teacher interviews last week. These conversations are so valuable in supporting your child's learning journey. Please remember that communication with teachers is always open - whether it be through SeeSaw, phone calls or making an appointment to see your child's teacher.
This Friday we are excited to host our Father's Day Breakfast. We warmly invite fathers, grandfathers and significant others to join us for this special morning. If you haven't already, please RSVP through the Compass link or contact the office to assist with catering.
We also extend a very warm welcome to three new students who joined our school community last week: Jackson Murray, Year 1, Hunter Murray, Year 3, and Harrison Fisher, Year 6, to St. Joseph's. We're thrilled to have them and their families as part of St. Joseph's and welcome them into our community.
We are excited to be in the process of working on our draft copy and book of 'Fire in the Tops'. On Friday, students from 2/3 and 4/5/6 will be working on voice recordings for the characters. We look forward to sharing this final copy of our book in Term 4.
Peace & Best Wish

Book Week 2025 'Book an Adventure'
We will be celebrating Book Week Thursday 11th September. This will be in week 8. The theme for this year’s book week is ‘Book an Adventure’.
The day will consist of the Meerkat Productions musical adaptation of ‘The Garden of Broken Things’ starting at 9.00am. Gloucester Preschool will also be attending this production at our school.
Lunch will be at the normal time of 11.10am – 12.00pm.
Local Author Therese Lloyd will be doing workshop activities between 12.00-1.30pm. Therese Lloyd is the author of Arki and the Cursed Caves.
Everyone is invited to come and watch our book character parade at 2.00pm.
Students are encouraged to dress up as a book character or in a costume to match the theme, with the theme being, ‘Book an Adventure’. Costumes do not need to be expensive, as many book character costumes can be created using everyday clothing.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for our Book Week Parade!
